Sidra Technologies was approached by a startup cosmetics firm, looking to establish their corporate identity, as well as a strong online presence, including an e-commerce platform to enable them to sell online.
After identifying a sample of their target market, we set up a small focus group to clarify what qualities the brand needed to convey in order to appeal to this audience.
After some deliberation with the client, it was mutually agreed that the research findings might for convenience be summarized into keywords to give clear direction to the design team: Pure, clean, health-giving nurture, knowledge, honesty, and cottagey goodness. It was felt that these few terms adequately represented both the corporate philosophy and the expectations of the target audience.
On this basis, our print and web designers created traditional marketing materials, a web site, an e-commerce catalog, and a packaging design.
